Our Approach

Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department placed a series of video billboards in the heart of Times Square NYC, encouraging international and domestic travelers to visit TravelOK.com and learn more about exploring Oklahoma. The billboards featured unique and unexpected Oklahoma destinations that stand out against the bustling streets of Times Square. The billboard creative began running May 2022.

Strategy

Elevate awareness for international and domestic travelers to explore the unique experiences Oklahoma has to offer on TravelOK.com.

Results

  • Site traffic from the New York City area was up 200%  for users and sessions compared to the previous year
  • Nearly 75% of site visitation from the New York area is organic or direct traffic.
